Headed out at noon across Town Farm to get out of the mud fishing with my son Kyle. Found the mud line in front of Split Rock and worked it for nothing. Moved across Split Rock into Whallons and the water cleared up. First fish was deep in the west corner, 45 feet down in 60 feet. 16" salmon. Worked back to Split without anything happening. Turned towards Cannon and over some deeper water. 5 silvers between 12" and 17" and a 13" Master Angler cisco. 2 knockdowns without anyone home. 45 feet seemed best, and a CI Brown Trout took 4 of the 6 silvers. Harry lure (copper/red) took the cisco and a copper/orange needlefish took 2 silvers. No action on the Deep'r divers and only the cisco on the sliders.

Been wanting to get back out in front of cannon point! You read my mind:) Nice results too... I would say if you dont have at least one spoon in brown trout out in HB or CI brands, you aren't covering the colors well... Definitely a go to pattern this time of year.

Thanks for the report...

Great report. Cannon point is a great bet for lots of action and some big silvers this time of year. A year ago we had a great couple of weeks in that area.

Thanks for the report! Last week the cisco's were thick as thieves just south of the ball grabber, but couldn't find any silvers in that area willing to take the elevator ride to the cooler

Hey Scott

Nice report and as the others have said you picked the right spot. Last year around this time that was a really hot spot and I remember Mike(LazyC's) nailed a nice salmon on a spoon he had taped up and that fish just destroyed the spoon. LOL

Thanks for keeping us posted. It's nice to have some clear(er) water to motor to and a catch a few. Good job!
