P_Stone Update

Post by plantstone »

Out twice in late may. One skunk. Next trip, I missed netting the elusive 10+ lb 30+" salmon (boy did it jump) based on a friends 6 lb test on the rod it was caught on. I use 15lb floro.. He missed three times at he net before the line snapped. "the net was to small" it was !!!!! Great fight and saw the fish many times, all is well with me and the fish ... friend still has to make up for it......

It's been a long break, but back on the water - mostly kayaking. As a heads up, I stop when battling a fish - hand propelled..

I've been dialing in using slide divers and torpedo divers. nothing notable, but the steady 16" fattie

Wondered where you been Forrest. Glad to hear from you. Sorry about the lost pig. Sounds like you had a run in with Jaws.

Hope to see ya at the shootout.

Good to be on the water, yes! And lost a pig! Thx for the bug in my ear about Dunmore - a great day trip champlain alternative for all - especially if winds are blowing. But a lake to experience! Great to see some of you today. Nice to meet you frank, thx for the stealth tech gear. New Truck = $$ Liked old truck that was paid for   But styling :D
A few of these in the mix and limited salmon on my end, all in the 60' range. Anybody having luck on a long line yet? Not me..
