Glad you enjoyed your experience on Lake Champlain. If you want yellow perch, better to fish north of Burlington. White Perch have taken over a lot of the terrain that used to be yellow, but they fit in the frying pan just as well. Fred

Caught only one laker with a lamprey on it during this trip wich is a good improvement compared to what I was catching 4 or 5 years ago.
Also I noticed less Frickin cormorants flying around... I hope I am right and that I was not just not in a micro system..
No mistake, I want all of them frickin things dead and was happy to see less. Keep up the good work on that issue and I only hope we will adress that problem soon over here in central QC. They are everywhere on Lac St-pierre!!!
Had some Champlain lake trout tonight on the grill. As always it was awesome......
Look out, ducks and geese are coming!!!!
