ccccccccold!
joined Deano and Fathead outta converse Friday morning with temp at house at -6 f.
Launch had thin ice out about 70 yards
Launch went ok, but took 15 min for boat to pee cooling water..
Homewrecker5 had no trouble getting thru the crunchy stuff.

We motored over to split in the steam...
Due to wind we couldn't stay in whalons and the bite on the my shore was pretty meager...
Hate to report, but we never boated a fish! One lead core rod bent a little but it was a swing and miss.... Cold day and tough bite. but still fun.
Thanks guys

Dang, that looks bitter. Cool pics, though. I've experienced the frozen tell tale, too. Had my fingers crossed the whole time that I didn't spin the impeller.

Time to change the name to "Frozenbiters". This is wayyyyy beyond frost. The newest version of the Homewrecker has seen the worst and survived. Even the fish knew it was too cold. Good times. Great memories.

Is Homewrecker the Boat I see everyday parked at a residence on West Lakeshore or Holy Cross Road in Colchester?
Or is that an earlier addition?

Does Homewrecker provide blankets for the riders like on the old single chair lift at Stowe on the bitter cold days?
