Hi Matt,

Thanks. Hope to be able to head out again with you sometime.
Have a great winter. i want to put on an Autopilot. Any suggestions for my 2005 Trophy 18' walkaround?

Michael, many of us are using Simrad AP24
Very simple to install and even easier to use.
Mine will be starting its 4th season soon, and never had an issue with it.

I would also suggest ap24.. It can be mated to either cable or hydraulic steering systems with different helm drive systems... They run around 2-3k depending on the options... I love mine...

I ordered mine off eBay and installed it myself, works great and I wouldn't be without it now... I had to install an isolation switch for battery as the flux gate compass will pull current even when system is off, butt other than that there was no surprises....

Will keep you in mind for a trip when driveway thaws some, would be a good test drive for you with the system to see if it's for you...
