Fish Hawk Probe Test

Post by ThreeBuoys »

I am going to test my probe later today, but yesterday I was getting bad temp reading at the ball.
Wondering if anyone with a Fish Hawk X4D would be willing to test my probe with their unit.
I am in the Colchester Outer Bay area, but can get to the IS if need be or I can travel by my Truck as well.
I can be reached via PM on this site or text or call me at 802 316 9024.
Damn disappointing if it has gone bad....I treat it like an egg....

I changed the batteries last night and will fight the rain to test again later. I will need someone to test it for me if it still fails.

Check the wire connectors to the battery pac. Sometimes the strands can break and cause issues with flakey readings...

Changed batteries again...just in case.
Very frustrating....
Almost rather lose the damn thing than have it go bad when I did nothing to abuse it!

Just need someone to test it.
My only other option is to send the whole mess to Trevor at Fish Hawk.....out of warranty of course

Just an update to this issue. After a few calls emails to Trevor, I finally decided to call and discuss the issue. They agreed to ship me a replacement under warranty even though the probe was over a year old. So I guess what I am saying is Fish Hawk stands behind their product!
