That's a very strong knot.
I use it often when saltwater fishing.

I generally use back to back uni knots. This looks even easier.

Cant help but wounder if it is weaker then a uni to uni knot i have used the uni knot all my life and have caught 600 lb blue fin tuna with it and found it to be very strong .
