I see a Fish Hawk TD in my future.
I introduced Lite Bites to my arsenal this last season, but to be honest I never felt comfortable with the depths I was running.
I also ran ran 5 colors of Leadcore with Offshore weights and didn't feel comfortable with the depth of those either.

Great info!

Thanks for all your tips and videos, Ron.

In the last video, showing the way you velcro pads to your interior canvas, your boat is shown in a garage. May I ask how long is your boat when the trailer tongue is folded (or how deep is your garage)?

Garage measures: 30 ft deep 26 ft wide with 10 ft tall doors (no need to drop canvas). No folded tongue needed. 24 ft trailer + add 2 feet for engine beyond it. Shorelander Single Axle trailer 3,500 lb. capacity 15" tires / 6 lug / larger axle and brakes when comparing too standard trailers with 14" tires. Trailer is the same length as most trailers up to this size though.

Great thread Ron. I don't think people pay enough attention to the troll control. For those that don't have some means of electronic throttle control, you are spending way too much time at the helm, where you could be adjusting your terminal tackle, instead, and catching more fish.
