Caught something new to us this weekend

So Sunday I took the family to "church" as usual (took them fishing :mrgreen: ) and this time out my daughter caught something new to us, not sure what it is, anyone know?

Can't see mouth but maybe a white fish or cisco?

looks like excellent pike bait to me.

Not cisco, not whitefish.
It is large golden shiner, well spread in Europe.
I have caught a few in Upstate NY.
Belongs to carp family.
