seeking BASS - hows the water level (low I bet)
Looking forward to catching some of those nice PHAT Ticonderoga bass!

Just over 94 feet and 75deg... low and warm.

Ug- Bad timing. Water temp dove 10 degrees in the days just before we got there- and the wind/water churned up that silty stuff and buried our chances for the most part- we did manage ~ maybe 15 bass in two days.. biggest was respectable 4.6 but nothing over 2# otherwise. Bait was shocked and being picked off by hundreds of birds all over - bass were not cooperative, also lazy and cold.. they were not fighting hard etc.. toughest conditions I've seen compared to previous Ti trips in Oct.

Well there is always next year- somebody remind me not to come during the first sincere North Blow of the year

If it helps I had a pretty good time catching them near the surface real close to the shoreline if its smallies we are talking about. Fished the NY side near snake den to whalons bay. They were very ferocious when it came to diving cranks with rattles in them. didn't really care for anything else. the bait fish were hugging the shoreline.
