Is there any decent salmon fishing up by isle la motte July time frame ??

Ask cowboy he lives there and fishes most of the season up there... problem is that by July you need deeper water to hold salmon so the areas to south are better...

I’ll be staying at a camp up there the second week of August. Wondering how far south I’ll have to run to find decent fishing. Thanks in advance

The salmon are a little south by then try Cumberland head area. I launch from Holecomb bay on the island all the time and it’s a 15 minute run down there. Pm me when you are up there and I can share the details

Ok awesome dragonballs. I deffinately will post again when the time is closer. I believe I will be up there for a week starting aug 10th. Have a camp in alburg with a dock. Cumberland doesn’t seem too far to run. FYI JusGrinnin posted this for me.
