Summertime Boat Storage

Post by D-Cypher »

I live in the central/eastern part of Vermont and I love fishing on Lake Champlain. However the 2 hr drive hauling a 4,000Lb boat gets expensive over the course of a fishing season.

I am looking for a spot to store my boat on its trailer for the spring/summer months and into the fall in the Burlington area that I can come and go from as I please. I am not interested in paying the $2,300 I was quoted for a slip in a marina, but I am certainly willing to compensate fairly.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Shadow Cross Farm in Colchester is pretty reasonable. Password at a locked gate in, and password at a locked gate to get out. My father in law has kept his boat there for the past two fishing seasons.

Contact Judd Swenor. He has at least 6 LCU members boats in the yard from here. 1 mile from the ramp.
