Hats off Randy. Once again, your derby was excellent. You proven to be a great organizer.
The weather was perfect, with a very nice participation.
It's always a pleasure to see friendly faces.
The food was excellent and plentiful, thanks everyone for your contribution.
Our crew tried hard but we were not able to bring a decent fish to the scales.
The weigh-in was exciting right to the end. Each entry was bigger than the previous one.
Congrats Nanish for the wining catch.
For the first time, the trophy is going North of the border. This is an International event ;)

Thanks everyone involved with this event. Great gathering as always.
Enjoy the upcoming frostbite season.

yes i think overall everyone seemed to be catching salmon. jeff and i landed 6 from 16 to 19 inches and very healthy. other frostbiters seemed to also be doing well catching salmon.

Another great event put together by Randy and his crew. I was unable to fish due to surgery but look out next year. Always a great awards feed!

We have seen a lot of 15-16" fish in the last few weeks show up from Scotch Bonnet (north of Fishville) up to Split and Thompson's. Seems this years stocking crop is plentiful after hiding in the Southern end (Fishville) all season hiding from the birds and the fishing pressure. No worries. They are very fat and healthy. Todd you were correct! If we could just thin down that Lake trout population and get the birds to eat them. :)

Thanks to all for the organization and keeping this great tradition going. Was fun out there, not much "frost" for the frostbite fleet at this year's shootout, but the fishing was good. Food wasn't too bad either.

The weather and fish cooperated and the BBQ was great. Thanks to the organizers, Point Bay Marina, and all who participated. Oh yes, and congrats to Stephan for bringing home the biggest fish.
