Looking to update my electronics for 2018 season. Presently using an Eagle 320. I am looking at the Lowrance hook 7 fishfinder/chart plotter, mid/high downscan. I fish mostly Lake Champlain and one trip a year to Lake Ontario. Your opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: updating my electronics
I presently own multiple Lowrance models, HDS-5, HDS-7, HDS-9, and Elite7, using Navionics card, and very happy with them. I cannot speak for other brands.
Search internet or you local stores for the best price, but choose the most expensive model you can afford. You want something you will enjoy for many years.
DO NOT buy cheap, as you get what you pay for.
