As of Oct 6th 2017,

34 salmon have been lifted.

Average length is 23" and largest was 29".

A nice steelhead over 6 lbs was handled as well.

Stopped by yesterday at 10:00 am and they just checked the trap with no fish. However, day before yesterday there was 8 fish trapped I was told.

Two guys fishing. One swinging flies with a 16 ft Fly Rod... Yes that is no typo... Longest Fly Rod I have ever seen. The other guy on the rocks was throwing a spinner with a weight 4 ft. above it.

I have trouble handling a 6 1/2' fly rod. I would think you could cast across the river, but the back cast must tricky. Hoping the rains come and raise the water levels.

A 16' fly rod doesn't have a back cast, it's a spey rod.

My buddy caught a smallish, but nice looking steelhead out of there today.
