Went out of the winooski river for a change of pace today. Haven't been down there in some time. Under the bike path bridge still in the the teens depth wise . Looking out towards the lake, several trees on sand bars. Good thing the lake is up because we saw about 2 1/2 feet at the thinnest water.
So,go while you can from there, we will be shut out soon. Too bad,the work done at this access is excellent

Well we got a late start,,,10 ish. Decided to do a little prospecting over toward Schuyler and the shore. If it weren't for lakers we would have got skunked. No salmon.bait deep,temp break around 50 ft. Saw Trolling Tina on a charter over there, they appeared to be doing similar. A supposedly lite and variable that was kicking 3 footers when we left. Talk about birds , Appletree to Colchester pt, the air was choked with cormorants. Been a tough summer
