Beautiful fish and mount. Is that a skin mount or a reproduction?

It's a reproduction mount. Wood carved.

Matt - you asked if I was getting that salmon I caught mounted. I was only familiar with the way my dad had fish mounted which was by plaster cast which ruined the fish for eating. Can/does Doug do it just from pics and measurements? ...you mentioned carved from wood based on measurements.

Yes... But it's a little more expensive than a skin mount. Doug is just starting to get into this for salmon. I ate Jaws too... He had a couple of 3+ lb fillets...

Such nice work...about 10 yrs ago, Doug did a replica mount of a 42 pound KING that I caught in Alaska.
He's very much on top of his game.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look into it, I guess.
