It looks like the webcam isn't updating. That's exactly the same picture I saw yesterday afternoon ... I've gotta believe the ice has changed a little since then! Not sure about the Appletree launch. The inland sea was still iced over yesterday. Hopefully this wind/rain will clear it out. Anybody have any recent updates on Keeler's / Appletree Bay / Inland Sea ice?

Not exactly where you were asking about, but close.
Outter Malletts Bay and Inner Malletts Bay are still iced in.
From where I live, I can see the Sand Bar Causeway still looks iced as well.
The ice is starting to move out but slowly.
By the looks of the weather the next few days, it should move on out by early next week depending on the wind.
That cold snap toward the end of last month iced us in more than we thought.

Keelers is still iced in. Apple Island launch has ice, but that could change by morning. Open water along the cow banks, but still a bunch of ice chunks every where. Need a good blow to stir things up a bit and break up the ice

With the current wind I wouldn't be surprised If it's all gone by morning. It's been sinking all day. Keelers and the ramp at sand bar should be good to go this weekend. Will update in the AM.

IS ice out. Looks like it's blown out from my view. St A bay is filled in w drift ice. Looks like the Milton shore is collecting bergs north of Cedar. Mid day Friday the apple isle launch was opening as the ice just dissolved there. Will confirm that and Keelers this morning.

Keeler is still pretty much iced in. The NW winds today kept everything in place on the east side of the bay. The same goes for the shallows in front of the SB state park. We need a good blow from the south to finish things up unless it just sinks in the warm sun the next day or so. I won't hold my breath for that to happen just yet.

South wind at 10 knots should help clear out any leftover ice tonight and tomorrow?

Dan and I had every intention of heading south today but as I passed Keelers it was wide open and asking to be be fished. So a hard left turn an we were in the water for the first shake down run. Wind blowing hard so whatever warmer water that was around was history. 39 was the best we saw. Headed to Sandbar to check the shallows there and a dreaded temp alarm sounded killing the trip looks like a new pump impeller is on the agenda .Limped into the dock safe and sound. One fish a15 inch silver is we saw. Silver and blue long line needlefish.
