FEB 18 WORKSHOP GUEST SPEAKERS

Post by popster »

I am happy to announce that we have finalized the lineup of Guest Speakers for our upcoming Feb 18 workshop. This should be a terrific event, with 3 very informative presentations. These gentlemen have played a major role in managing the quality Salmonid fishing that we enjoy today in Lake Champlain.

In addition, our very own longtime member, Ron Winter, DIGITROLL will give a presentation on Offshore Tackle, showing their new products and techniques. He will also be available to answer any questions about Offshore or Fish Hawk.

Louis Porter, Commissioner, VT Fish & Wildlife

Brian Chipman, Fisheries Biologist, VT Fish & Wildlife
.....Results of last year's Trout and Salmon assessments
.....Detailed results of Champlain open water creel surveys on Main Lake,'15 and Inland Sea '16

Bradley Young, Sea Lamprey Control, Program Manager, US Fish & Wildlife Service
......Sea Lamprey Control - History, Current Trends, and Future Directions
