westport boat launch

the launch in westport was plowed but the snow was plowed in front of the ramp. more on the south side than the north side. so boaters beware bring a shovel if you decide to launch in westport. it was melting some at noon today

stopped there today at 11 am 2 boaters launched drove right through the snow piled up in front of the ramp.

launch update 12/19/2016 okay for launching and clear of ice. 2 boat trailers launched this morning when i stopped at 9:30 am. port henry launch someone sanded the ramp with 1 boat trailer out . the lake is skimming over in port henry though boat coming back in will have to break the skim ice for sure this was at 10 am.

westport is good to go and port henry is iced in with floating chunks of ice as of 12/21/2016

westport launch is snow free and ice free and good to go also port henry. was there at 12:15 pm today.
