Got the OK from Todd Smith at Point Bay and sent the paperwork off to Tammy at Vt Fish and Wildlife.
Date this year is November 7th with the 8th being the alternate. Can't wait for the season myself just got all November & December off for Vacation Guess "I'll only fish on days that end in Y" to quote the Admiral!

Cant wait that's the start of my vac. for the week of deer hunting. But like years past the gun will be put away that day for a day on the water with the rest of the fleet.
If all goes as planned, this will be my second year in the Shootout, but first in my own boat. Beginners luck? Worth a shot. Great to be a part of such a good group of fishermen/sportsmen. See you on the 7th.
