final 4

took time off to hunt the last 4 days of the early goose season in NY and hunting was great with good numbers harvested every day. newly cut corn fields was the place to set up as birds where hitting them pretty hard.

just about 4 wks. to go for the reg. season start for cans...

GOD mike looks like fun, i think it would be more fun watching are boys shoot thats amazing.BUMP.

Nice job. Had a buddy smoke a bunch of our goose breasts. Man.. they were the BEST!!! Tender.. juicy.. flavorful. Nothing compares to smokes goose. IMO :D

Wish I hadn't sold my late Dad's Remingtion SP10 gauge auto 8 years ago. My bad. That was a killin stick. :mrgreen:

VERY NICE INDEED ;) WFW.... I need to try that smoked meat, never did care much for waterfowl that's why I stopped killing them...... Wing shooting is a real Blast though!!! :D

Smoked goose is the way to go!

Mike you better start charging these guys, people pay big bucks for those hunts! :D

Mike by those pictures you guys killed the whole dam flock.... :mrgreen:

We first started smoking our geese when I worked at McKenzie's Meat 27 years ago. Processed it like ham in nets hanging in the smoker. It was very good. Tasted like ham!
The on-site federal meat inspector was a cool guy for letting us speriment. :D

In that second pic...you guys should have turned around...there's another flock on the ground :o :shock:
