Love pine point area been going there for years fishing is great there right near the launch for stripers. You had a good haul there nice fish

heading down sunday cant wait and i have my drs approval. erik carruth is going with me and driving and hopefully my daughter comes to. we are going to fish and fish hoping for the best. mudchuck should we fish at the end of the pier mostly.

I wouldn't worry about the Sheephead. We catch those things all of the time down where we are, 6-7 lbs up to the biggest being 22lbs. They thrive in some of the warmest dirtiest water in the lake. sometimes the perch move to where there is alot of forage. structure helps as they feed on zebra mussells also. i always did well but when it gets close to august the bite slows and they can be a tough catch. drum love catching them non stop fighting. the perch are still around just need more patience

awsome post . i havent been over to the red gate so you know how the bite is there now. stripers wow trying to get over there me friend is catching some nice ones on mackeral chunk baits. keep this kids fishing.
