Matt, just a couple of small lakers. Sunny, no wind, the temp was 57° top to about 80'. This was the narrows down to Westport. More wind today won't help, salmon could be anywhere.

I did hear a couple people catching them on 68, so they're out there.

I launched there today and it was shallow but fine trimmed up. Maybe 18" of water at the low spots?

I agree with Reelax, Walmart marine fluids are fine. Most lubes are manufactured by the same company and rebranded. My main engine is 37 years old and my Honda kicker is 34 years old. No issues with Walmart stuff over many years and hundreds of hours. There's a lot of fancy snake oil out there.

I am wondering if the exponential increase in flea numbers equates to the rising levels of nutrients, fecal matter, and bacteria that the Lake is suffering? Pretty encouraging as it's only the third time in 150 years that biologists have found wild hatched salmon fry in the basin. Yes. This is what I tell the lake stewards every time I see them but with a sticker they could save their breath.
