daylight till 2 run we did 2 average salmon and a bunch of lakers. right out front and down toward otter creek right out in the abyss. 20-50 down lead, riggers and slide divers all took fish.

arrived at the launch at daylight iced up right at the launch out about 30'. lucked out as there were some duck hunters launching they broke a hole but be ready temps are right. 39 degree water everywhere we went. good luck everyone.

you had better day than i did. i launched at Arnold bay fished around both ends of westport blew up toward split rock and thompsons came back down ny side 1 small laker for my 6 1/2hr effort. not one of my finer days but wasent a bad day to be out back up on wed. merry christmas to all.

converse was all clear parking lot wise and launch this past sat.

nice job with the salmon. Id put an orange flag up on that thing though. some days seems people cant see an 18' boat let alone a kayak and keep an air horn handy. should and if dosent help after they cut you in half. stay safe.

have a garmin unit on my rig and have found that to be off in some areas as well. not good for any of us but glad to hear its not just 1 brand seems to be across the board.

and the milfoil police want to check our boats to make sure the lake is clean. hmm

absolutley they do. left 2 on split rock as trying to corner around it until figured it out. i would say 40' plus. also good to know when in traffic out there 2 boats passing both running them you will meet in the middle.

most of the fish we have caught have hits on them but prob only 1 out of 10 have had any attached same as last year real small 1-2" down port henry end larger as moved toward converse area.

have the garmin just not chirp like it very much only downfall is not networkable would love a second display in back of boat.
