Re: More Mud line

I'm hoping it will settled down soon since this is prime time, good luck to all if you get out. We don't have a camera but depending on where we went today there seemed to be different densities to the mud. The water went from solid chocolate milk with the down rigger ball dis-appearing on contact w...

More Mud line

Hi, went out today out of West Port and found chocolate milk from the dock all the way past Diamond Island. There was a small strip of clear water on the N.Y. side from Rattle snake to West port bay. However, there were no fish in the clear water. Caught one nice salmon at the mud line border on the...

Re: Mud Line

Thanks for the info. The last time we were there we had a lot of debris and you couldn't see 6 inches down and it made for tough fishing. The temp was about the same then, caught mostly lakers, prefer salmon but can't be fussy under those conditions.

Mud Line

Hi, this is my 1st post but long time "watcher". My friend and I fished out of either Port Henry or West Port, We have seen the Rubber Ducky several times when we were up in Port Henry earlier this year. Last week West Port was covered in a mud bloom from Town Farm to Barber Point. Can any...
