Cumberland should be good, but much north of there in my experience, the temperature change is much more dramatic with a blow. Better off in the islands or Valcour any way.

They can be any depth. I got some suspended at 90 over 160'. The next weekend they were on bottom in 65. All depends on wind changing the water temp . Chazy, You should be able to catch Lakers at Cumberland Head, especially on the south side. After a south wind, water will be warm deep. Fish a day or two after a good north blow, and fish will be more active in the cooler water.

That may have been me. I like to run one line way back off the rigger, and when fishing solo, wich happens a lot, I use verticle blades on the rigger cable. See fish 307. And , I like to keep my life within 30' of the blades.
