The best thing about this report, other than the huge, beautiful fish, is the excitement it generates with everyone who sees it. If you spend enough time on this lake, anyone has a chance to catch a once in a lifetime salmon. It's a testament to all the effort that has been put into the restoration...

Seemed like it was a long troll on Friday. I checked the navionics record... 41 miles and 10.5 hrs... for those who are looking for spring salmon trolling lines... here is my track;)

Fished Friday with DA and Jon Rundle out of Converse. Arrived at 1st light and motored across lake to the area we wanted to target. While setting out the 1st 2 color lead line out it fired! What were surface temps? They were 42.3 when we were there Sunday.
