Re: August through October
I have never seen where Salmon can not be caught the entire month of August??? But sometime around September, for a month or so, the bite is practically non existent. The Pike bite in September on the other hand, is the best month to fish Pike In my outings. Why chase a maybe, if you can target a sl...

Re: SALMON FEEDING
I catch Salmon well into August and even toward the end. But It does slow down quite a bit and varies from year to year. This year we ar already starting to get colored fish. Very faint tan hue to them. Not bright silver. Last year I saw this later in August. My experience is September is the slowes...

Re: Can a N.H. resident come over and Fish????
This information came from the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Site. It specifically addresses outdoor recreation. So looks like the answer is no, folks from out of state can not come to Vermont to recreate until after a 14 day quarantine. "Outdoor Recreation Under the terms of Gov. Phil Scott’s “Sta...

Just wondering if there are any current fish reports???? I have only been out and about by car, a few times checking conditions ect. I see many trucks and trailers at boat launches. I saw a few boats down near the bridge last week. Today, while visiting family on the NY side, I saw quite a fe...

Re: Hatchery brook 10/13
Hatchery brook is a man made brook from excess water flowing out of a settlement pond. The water comes from wells used in the tanks where fish are grown. I think , but don't quote me that the water is discharged because it is no longer cool enough for fish. Salmon run up the shallow brook to a trap...

Re: Hatchery brook 10/13
Why don't they just close it in the fall, as they do the Salmon hole in the spring??
Is it because they will not be able to reproduce there?
F&W collects fish there and strips the eggs correct? Makes sense to close it.

Re: ACTION PLAN
I am sorry but a new phrase has entered the American language ... False News. I would like to hear from Ellen, herself, before I believe a 35% natural reproduction on Lake Trout. What changed??? From 0 to 35%, please Ellen, tell us this IS true!! 1. I agree with C-Hawk about the confirmation that w...
