If you look at the charter boats on lake Ontario you will see that a good # of them only have 3 riggers on there boats. i had a 27 ft Baha with 4 riggers and cant think of 1 time in last 3 yrs I ran all 4 while on lake Ontario. I now have a 10 meter Trojan with a 13.5 foot beam that has enough room ...

nice fish! bite is going good in Kingston, water temp is staying cool & the boys are having some 20 & 30 fish days!..one of crew had 2 over 40" yesturday so big ones are finally showing up.

make sure you get a trolling bag...not a drift sock. most drift socks will not hold up to trolling. Amish outfitters make the best ones but they are some what $$... Big papa sportfishing also makes some very good ones. both web sites will tell you what size you need.

saw that one time at Mexico boat launch on Lake Ontario. guy had a 21 ft grady white and a ford ranger. got out to unhook boat and in the h20 it went!! boat floated and truck was in to the cab lights! launch was closed for the day on a Saturday ...back in the day when the 150 spot parking lot was FU...

Coast guard ramp kiosk is wrapped in plastic for the winter so it appears to be free for use . Launched here today after looking at the regular Burl city ramp. Talk about un inviting signs abound for business parking only. Didn't appear that there was much in the way of trailer space any where near...

I have a 27 foot Baha Cruiser that with 4 people in the boat and fueled up weight is over 8000 lbs. I have a mercury 4 stroke 9.9 bigfoot. I have had this set up for almost 5 yrs and fish many days on Lake Ontario in 3-5 footers and some days even bigger....I can't recall EVER not being able to trol...
