Re: New forum member
Add to that, on days where we are getting bumps with no one home, I will tighten the horizontal release on my chamberlains. It increases chance of a non-release, but also seems to stick them better when they bite, since it takes more force to release. But there are days where no matter what you do t...

Re: Willowby
Make sure if u are going from champ to willo to do a VERY thorough cleaning of the boat and all lines riggers etc. it would be a tragedy if one of us brought those fleas from champ to willo.

Re: Willsboro Bay in late July
I’m not doubting it, I’ve seen pics of 17-20lb fish from there, and jiggers seem to get the big ones. I’ve never been that lucky on champ my on from champ is only 12. I love me some fish porn though!!!!

That’s cool! I got one back from the depths this time last year. They are a well built machine, 10 months in the water is impressive.

None to speak of really. Only had them on my knots. Grass was a much bigger issue as it was everywhere.

7/21 Shelburne
We headed out of shelburne yesterday with 802fishtail and my buddy brody. With the forecast HOT, with scattered thunderstorms and some wind we started in the bay. We set gear by the yacht buoy and had a hit almost immediately on a rainbow trout speedy shiner on a slide diver. It screamed drag a coup...

Re: Optimal Laker Temp Range
With time we could see those. Get the lamprey under control, plenty of deep water for them to hide, there is no reason they couldn’t fit up to 30-40. I’d like to break 15 as a start on champ personally!

Re: Caspian Monster Pics and Video
Very possible. I have some friends who ice fish it. I've heard of several 18-19lb in the last few years. If there is a person consistently catching 20+lb fish there I would love to meet them and learn their ways haha.

Re: Jigging or Other Methods w/o Trolling Gear?
Thanks! I thought that would be the issue with jigging- staying put in the right spot, that is. Probably will pick up the slide divers and give it a try! Do they sell them locally or should I just order offline? I bought mine online. Not sure who local sells the lite bites (the ones you want) I kno...

Re: mid-day chrome
Nice going, Mudchuck! Congrats on the salmon. Perchbait and I were out there, as well. Saturday was a great day to be on the water! Were you fishing Georgia shore? Wish we would have seen you out there in your "new" boat. (BTW .... that's SILVER, not CHROME :D ) How did you guys do out th...
