Re: launch conditions
skimmed over at Port Henry as far north as Westport. There were a thousand geese in a pool of open water just south of the Ti bridge, the rest is skimmed over, this Nor'easter coming with the strong North winds should blow it all up

Re: Splash Down Shake Down 3/6/18 Tuesday
I have done this both ways also and like the side mounted masts better, but now I just use inline boards(offshore with spring flags). When using a bow mounted mast we always had a retrieving line tied to the back of the top to ease in setting lines,we just pulled in the tow line in to reach the line.

Re: LICENCES
Vt and NY fishing licenses are reciprical..I believe you can fish from either shore with either license, you don't need to be in a boat. Some one correct me if I am wrong, please.

Re: Fishing Access Area Rule Changes????
If you let them pay a fee to use the ramps, they will want a voice in the rules, and then you have opened Pandora's box,I am against it.If it was a matter of just money ,I would say OK,but the fact is there is no room for parking because there is not land available to purchase or lease to expand the p...

Re: Fishing Access Area Rule Changes????
that's exactly the type of thing I am talking about, they should have a permit from the state to do that ,along with the appropriate fee.which is exactly why we need to keep the ramps for fishing only,if we let them in ,they will want it all
